Spring Art Ensemble – Artists Alliance Show – We are excited to again bring you The Artists Alliance. They are a professional group of 15 recognized and award winning fine artists from South Eastern Michigan – each unique in their own disciplines, and united in their desire to artistically create. The show will present paintings from many mediums, fiber arts, photography, handmade paper works and assemblages.

Elk Rapids Art Beat – an occasion to visit each of the five galleries in town on one special day. Each gallery will have artists demonstrating their work and will be offering drawings for gift certificates or special sale opportunities. Visitors to all the galleries during each event qualify for a $500. gift certificate drawing. Join us for a special day of art and fun!

More Than Meets The Eye – Charles Murphy Show – One of the foremost artists in Northern Michigan since 1977, Charles R. Murphy has worked diligently to keep the body of his work multi-faceted. This exhibit will showcase a spectrum of his paintings in both watercolor and oil, confirming that variety in subject and handling has been the hallmark of his portfolio.

Northern Images – Alan Maciag Show – A celebration of the rural beauty which surrounds us! Maciag’s landscapes achieve a balance between form, distance, color and content, creating a sense of calm and bucolic reverence for the rural heritage of Michigan. One is invited to simply ‘step in’ for a moment and be surrounded by the spirit captured on the canvas. Alan’s plein aire oil paintings capture a moment in time and remind us of why we are here.

2011 Artist On The Porch Series – A schedule of informal Thursday afternoon events where artists demonstrate their work on our front porch and chat with visitors.
